I'm hoping the dealer covers it, they're playing the whole "let's see how it looks when we take the wheel off" thing right now. Car was a dealer "boss" car and had about 12k miles on it. Rim and tire is about $800, so not worth filing with insurance.

Apparently, I have a bent/cracked rim already, despite never hitting anything I would consider an unusually large pothole or anything. Has anyone else had issues? Are the wheels cast or forged?
