(I do not work for Garmin or have any connection to Garmin other than being a customer)
Just noticed you also have an Onstar problem. That has to be an antenna or software problem (I think). You might try contacting Onstar for troubleshooting help. I have found that no matter what problem I have, I am not the first person to have that problem. Almost always, someone else has had a...
When I got my 22 5BW, the Bluetooth didn’t work. Dealer deleted and reloaded the software. Didn’t help. Finally got it to play from my phone by using Apple car play. Also I connect the phone to the car with the power cord. That also helps.
I don’t use the car GPS because I use the screen for...
Well done. Congratulations. The dealer should make the paint good. If not, there are quality paint shops that can. They could even do a 2 tone. THAT would make it one of a kind. Enjoy.
I am not denigrating the Corvettes. They are great cars and fun to drive. I had a 2005. The problem I had was, I thought it was noisy and getting in and out was difficult.
I think the 5BW is an improvement on both of those issues. And the 5BW performance is spectacular.
Six feet 7? I am thinking that the 4BW may be a little close. A 5BW might give you a little more room. I used to be 6’2”. Somewhere along the way, I’ve gotten an inch shorter. Probably all the years of driving airplanes. Or just being 85 years old.
As long as you are good out of state, check with Sewell Cadillac of Dallas Tx. They have a reputation for great customer service. Besides, a trip to Texas would let you get some great Texas Barbecue.
Welcome. My suggestion is that before you do anything else, find out if the dealer charges you MSRP or if the dealer adds money to the MSRP.
Some dealers add money to the MSRP. If your dealer does that, walk or run away. Do not do business with them. The add on can be $5,000 or more.
I don’t...
Sewell is well known to provide great customer service. The engine failed about 5 miles from my house. I paid a wrecker service $75 to take it to my house. Sewell sent a truck to get it and brought me a loaner car. Ten days later they brought my car back and took the loaner home. No complaints...
Not certain what “throwing codes” means, but I am the guy whose 22 CT5V BW engine came apart at about 4500 miles. Some internal part failed putting metal fragments in the oil and destroying the engine. Cadillac sent Sewell Cadillac of Dallas a new engine. Cost Cadillac about $50,000. Cost me...
840 hp? That’s nothing. (Just kidding) There is a Hennessy 1000 HP engine available for the CT5 BW. Don’t know about the mileage. But if you can afford a 1000 hp engine, you are probably not concerned about paying for fuel. I’m satisfied with the 668 hp in my BW.
I had an ATS -V with the Recaro seats. In my opinion, they were not as comfortable as the regular seats and certainly not worth the extra money.
I got regular seats in my 23 CT5V BW and they are just fine. Of course, I’m 85, and the only racing I do is to get to the bathroom.
