    Driver engagement? Selling/buying...

The garage is full of motorcycles and a 5, so no house smashing, I mean garage parking for my wife or daughters. Now if I can just figure out how to do away with the curbs they love to rash the rims on. Actually my youngest daughter parallel parks like a boss, and is darn good on a...

    Driver engagement? Selling/buying...

    Lincoln Town Car...you're welcome.

    Underwhelming A/C

Was the car in the hot sun all day? When everything is preheated deep into the dash, it can take a spell to cool all that mass down. If it was in a garage and still not cool, then you might have an issue. I think a few have reported issues in the past, but I recall it was 5's that had the issue.

    Driver engagement? Selling/buying...

I'm all about fun cars, but slabbing interstate is not really fun in anything. This is a rare case where an appliance is probably the best move. An already depreciated Accord with a manual transmission where you don't feel bad about the miles, stone chips, door dings, and related DD realities...

    Brake squeal fixes….

^^^I'm sure it was a difficult engineering challenge, but the more important point is that a fair percentage of 4 and 5 BW's are represented here is and squeal is rarely reported.

    Carbon back seat adjustment

It just so happens I have (2) 5BW in my garage (said without douche undertones) and honestly I can't tell much difference between the SA top tier seats and the mid-tier seats. I'm 6-3 250lbs and both fit about the same, firm/snug but not uncomfortable.

    Carbon back seat adjustment

Is that true? I thought the mid-tier seats in the 5 are the top seats in the 4? Not relevant to the OP, but worth clarifying.

Pics of your Blackwing in regular parking spots

Now THAT is a parking spot! Doesn't look like any sap trees overhead either. Well done.

Narrowed down to 3 colors - help me out, pictures encouraged!

People say BR is a boring color but I think it fits this car perfectly. I do think that dark tint sort of spoils the party a bit (I like some contrast vs murdered out), but I get that you live in LV and its sort of mandatory. Bronze wheels really help the look, good choice.

    CT5 BW Manual and 992 GT3

A bit out of my comfort zone on finances but dang that would be one bad ass mini-collection.

Ct5-V Blackwing precision pkg rear aluminum toe links

I know this is in the zone of "does it have gas?" when the car doesn't start, but did they check under the tray in the foam area where the funnel, tow hook, and related are stored?

Am I crazy? Honest feedback wanted

It's not the most practical or even close to the "best" daily, but that isn't because of ride, NVH, or any other suffering it offers. IMHO its not a great daily because of the operational costs (brakes, tires, fuel, etc) and how the miles diminish the value of a somewhat special car. My '23...

    Brake kit for 5BW

If you watch the original savagegeese video they spend quite a bit of time talking about the CCB. The link below should start at the brake discussion. TL;DR - As Evil said, on a street only application the rotors should last the life of the car.

    Am I crazy?

I don't have any other "fun" cars, just fun-ish versions of regular cars (like my retired FBI Crown Victoria, lol). I'm certain there are 1-2 others cars that I would love as much as the 5, like a GT3, but to me there isn't a more special front engine/rear drive car on the planet than the 5...

    Am I crazy?

Pfff...here comes the 4BW Nimble Army. @668LT4 nailed it...everyone has a dream car that makes them smile, why do some of you feel compelled to stand on the street corner trying sell your personal decision to others? I can't fathom why @5VBW Nick put his BDT Carbon AF BW on a truck to me, but...

    2026 allocation

I think you might have unrealistic expectations for how this is going to go. If you're task oriented (or have a sense of entitlement) you're in for a rough ride. You can put an order in any Cadillac dealer, but most "orders" are unlikely to get served an allocation by GM. The dealers know...

    Am I crazy?

I guess the only part I can disagree with is the premise that one needs to explore the limits to enjoy a car, especially if you're not a naturally talented/trained wheelman. Even though Miata isn't always the answer, it's highly capable of completely irresponsible speeds on public roads. Not...

    5th gen V?

I can assure you that the basic architecture of the new small block is designed to have a number of potential variants just like LS and LT did. Not saying there will be many variants, but 100% there will be the potential for HP versions along side whatever pedestrian version that goes in the...

    5th gen V?

With GM pumping the regenerative brakes on their EV program and the next generation small block in development, what I once thought extremely unlikely seems to be more plausible by the day; a 5th gen V/BW sedan? https://www.thedrive.com/news/gms-next-gen-small-block-v8-will-arrive-in-2027
