    CT4-V Frustration with build quality

Mine makes the same chirp noise. Honestly, I've read it's nothing but a nuisance and not really an issue if you can live with it. Is this still true or is there a true mechanical reason to replace it?

    4BW died at 1500 miles

I came from an M3, the 4BW is better in almost every way, at least to me. My 4BW has 900 miles on it and a CEL, but no symptoms. if my 4BW winds up being a problem, I am not sure I would get the M3 again.......definitely not the manual transmission the M3, its so bad.

CT4-V Squeaking and stumbling from idle (2024 4BW)

I may wind up waiting until they can release a TSB or a recall? If its just the actuator, is it really more of a nuisance in the squeak or is there any real concern for damage?

CT4-V Squeaking and stumbling from idle (2024 4BW)

I'm one of the lucky ones to have this too, 600 miles. Any updates? Sounds like one of the turbos? To me it sounds like a belt, I am going to do some investigating this weekend.

Why choose a CT4 BW over a new BMW M3? Sincerely asking.

I sold my 2021 M3 for all reasons listed here. But in summary because BMW manual transmissions absolutely suck donkey dick and the M3 is punishing to drive its too firm.

    4BW damaged in transport shipping

Thank you for the great responses. I am huge car guy and sold my 2021 M3 to buy this. I ordered this exact spec after months of determining what I wanted. I actually ordered a 5BW and determined the 4BW was a better car sans the V8. I am fanatical and work a little on my own cars. I've...

    4BW damaged in transport shipping

Any idea the invasiveness of this fix? Meaning, will they be removing doors or taking apart doors or removing interior trim? I really don't want a car that has been taken apart. I am very particular and know once things are taken apart they are never 100% perfect.

    4BW damaged in transport shipping

The pinch weld on the inside of the panel is cracked open from the bending. I went and saw it today. Unsure now. Dealer said they'll repair it all and let me decide. I'm leaning towards a new order

    4BW damaged in transport shipping

After 6 months or waiting my car came in yesterday only to come in with a damaged driver door corner. Not happy. What do people recommend? Decline this vehicle and wait for a new one? Or let dealer repair?

    Delivery purposely delayed?

Love all the feedback, and it is exactly what I wanted. I'll worry about something else instead!

    Delivery purposely delayed?

My car was built 6 weeks ago and just got picked up by the carrier to be delivered to the dealer. Estimated delivery is Saturday 5/4. The interesting part is the car sat on the factory lot for 6 weeks as the latest GM incentives expired and now as of 5/1 there are Zero incentives available...

    2025 5BW updates

I was actually thinking this will massively increase the older versions, the interior changes the whole vibe, I think there will be a lot of people who agree. If you want fancy lights and a massive dashboard you should simply look at an Audi or a Mercedes. The BWs are really meant for niche...
