If it's similar to the 4BW, then yes there's noticeable road noise at highway speeds. It's from the wider tires and over time you get used to it sadly.
If one we were to swap out the rear differential, I think you would need a tune so that the computers don't start tripping. The speed sensors would start tripping and you would get error codes.
Sounds better from the front? I'm not a fan of the akg. Sometimes I can barely hear my music over the road noise. And when i turn up the volume, it sounds harsh. Really thin type of sound.
Looks like something was burnt out internally. They (the dealer) replaced the entire panel and now it works! They (the dealer) gave me a loaner (CT4 base) in the mean time. Overall a positive experience.
Yes the steering wheel heater still works. The LED turns on very faintly for a split second. The dimmer switch doesn't help with the issue. Really don't want to leave my car at the dealership but that's what it may be. GM must be using some janky LED's or connecting wires for this to happen.
My LED indicator for the steering wheel heater seems to have burnt out. There used to be an orange light indicating that it's on, but now it's gone. The entire left side of the steering wheel also looks dimmer than the right. Anybody else get this?
I spoke with my salesman and made an appointment to test drive the manual 4BW. I test drove it, and then asked to drive the A10. I decided that the manual wasn't 'raw' enough to warrant the extra effort and went with the A10. The manual in this car is very forgiving and easy to drive, but...
Anybody else feel like these cars are kind of slow? On youtube it gets smoked by everything comparable to it (Camaro SS, BMW M-cars and even the M340i). When I give it gas on the streets it feels heavy and I can't really feel the power. I feel like there needs to be some sort of factory revision...
