Technically that should be "you should not go over 4500" rpms. This is a soft limiter and you can in fact go beyond 4500 rpm

Completed my 500 mile engine break-in

CT5-V Blackwing - Pure American

Took it out for a 90 mile drive. Trying to get the first 500 miles in and am at 380 flawless miles so far. FYI Route 9 in West Virginia between Berkley Springs and PawPaw is a great road for varying your rpm's to break in an engine - Just in case you wanted to know ;-)

No I am the original owner of the BW but my dealer did not provide any information on the program so my assumption was that I would be getting some sort of notification about the program from Cadillac in the mail
