I just checked their site and they have the OEM rears but not the fronts. It doesn't say OEM under the name and the item code on the fronts matches their standard stock 4S item code.
Trying to decide on what tires I should go with. Currently, the front TPC spec are on back order and Tirerack is saying not to expect them until June or July. I talked to my dealer earlier in the week and none of their suppliers have any and their GM dealer network showed 4 in stock on...
The TPC front is on back order still. I ordered a set from Tire Rack about 10 days ago and they still haven't got any in stock. Usually they have an estimate but they don't have one as of now. Driving around on winters still.
It's actually both and you need to adjust both to get to the roughly claimed -2.5F chamber. Unless you do decide to go more aggressive, they shouldn't need to be touched as they will be set to the least aggressive from the factory.
1.) Front and Rear camber are adjustable as is toe
2.) Road settings are roughly -1.5F/-1.0R chamber with .2 total toe in per axle
3.) They aren't. You can easily run -2.0 chamber on a street car with summer tires and the tires will wear out before the chamber does them in.
I'd think you'd want it working. It opens when you get on the throttle but it closes and stops a very obvious drone while your cruising along. Sometimes it takes it a little bit to close while cruising so it gives a good impression of what it would be like if it was open all the time.
I've moved back to Tour on my 4 awhile ago. The Sport and Track settings have a weird loading and unload of resistance in certain situations for daily driving. It's mostly gone in the Tour setting.
I saw a regular CT5 with Midnight Steel the other day in a parking lot. It feels a bit bland to me. I guess I was expecting a bit more...something...but it wasn't there.
Have someone else turn the wheel while you get near the wheel wells to try and see where it's coming from. The only time I've had this issue with previous vehicles it's been the upper strut bushing. But I know upper strut mount problems can cause that kind of noise too.
You will absolutely gain resale value with that OEM spoiler on a used car in a private sale. There are plenty of people who prefer the look of that spoiler and don't want the front splitter that comes with it. But like Speed Racer mentioned that value is going to fairly low.
So in 3 to 5...
The ride quality on the X3M isn't that great. I doubt most people would like it if they aren't into that kind of vehicle. I didn't mind mine but the 4BW is a MUCH better ride on our roads. The M40i though is a really good option that doesn't cost nearly as much as either and is a very well...
The primary benefit of the Macan GTS over its competitors is its steering, handling and ride comfort. If you don't necessarily want the absolute best in class for steering or handling then the product is over priced. You could also just step down to the S if you aren't optioning any of...
You used spacers with mini cats in them? The only 2 I've seen are from Fabspeed and M2.
You should PM shiftdown and ask him how often the CEL pops up with his mini cat spacers.
There isn't right now. The o2 spacers with cats can still pop up codes. They can help to reduce the frequency at which you have to clear the codes though.
M2 Fabrication also makes a cheap o2 spacer with a 200cel mini cat. Universal O2 Spacer with Catalytic Converter - Pair
The information you provided in post #10 noting the knuckle can get you out to about -2 and the strut adjustment is needed for the next -.5 is how Miraz described it to me at a track day. He came up and asked how I liked the car and we talked a little bit about the suspension and what I was...
