I picked up my 5BW last week and was wondering about the brake ducts. Are they installed by the dealer? Or in the trunk somewhere? I guess I need to get under the car and look and see if they’re mounted…

Manual transmission with 4 doors is 100% why I bought it. Wish the styling had some bigger BW cues, maybe a different hood or hell even slightly different badging. In any case, it’s a badass car. I considered a new M5 and had a Gt500 for a minute. Nothing beats rowing your own gears!

My 5BW was delivered late today!!! Picking it up Monday!!!!!!!!! Almost 1 year from the date I ordered. Wow!

Well, i was at 4300 with a delivery date of 7/6 and now I just found out I’m back at 4000 vehicle hold? This is worse than being teased on prom night !!!!

I’ve been at 4000 for a month now with an EDD DELAYED. 6spd manual, no CF packs, base interior.

That’s a long wait. Have you received any info on a delay? Waiting parts? What’s your build?

From combing the tracking thread it seems to be 3-4 months average once the built status code hits for 5BW’s. I wonder whose had the longest wait time for delivery?

I’m hoping to be able to get into a C8 Z06 in 2025. The question is what comes first for me: ‘25 Z06 or diabetic coma? My doctor’s money is on the coma…..

Well, dealer informed me today my 5BW is indeed in a 4000 status but it has a note “DELAYED” with no shipping date. :(

Cadillac chat says my order is at 4000! I’ve been in 3400 with TPWs changing from 4/12-4/18-5/2-4/18. Hope to get a VIN from my dealer on Monday. Now the waiting game to ship.
