Deep Ocean package badges.

I have a deep ocean CT5 V BW on order. Aren't the badges supposed to be black? I noticed two pics of Deep Ocean cars that have the regular chrome badges. Aren't the dealers supposed to swap the chrome for black upon pre-delivery? I'm confused and assume my will have black badges.

All dealer installed accessories should be installed during PDI…unless you tell them not too. Since I planned on getting full stealth PPF on my DOB, I asked the dealer to keep the badges in the trunk. My PPF installer was going to remove the badges anyway. Now he has the black badges and their install template as well as won’t need to reapply tape to the badges.

Sounds like that worked out for you then. Maybe the others I noticed were anomalies or the owner didn't want them installed either. Either way it's good to now I should have black badges on or with my DOB.

Did you ever get around to doing/completing the stealth PPF on the Deep Ocean Blue? Pictures of the final result?
