Double check that the 285s will fit on those 11” wide rear wheels. They barely stretch out in some cases and can also knock your Speedo off by 3-4 mph depending on OD which result in the car showing more mileage on the odometer then the car actually has on it.

I'm running 285/30R19 on the rear as well. There is a little more lip on the wheel then I like to see but it works...and of course the speedometer inaccuracy drives me NUTS.

Depends on the speed, but according to the Waze Speedometer I see in Carplay compared to the CT5's speedo:

Under 55 - 1-2mph
55-70 - 2-3mph
70-80+ - 3-4mph

When you run the calculations using these online calculators, the difference should be 1mph, 2mph max with rounding. However, I'm assuming the way OE's have the cars calculate speed based on the speed sensors does not assume 100% tire tread life and thus the reason why the gap is even more than what is calculated.

Ideally, 295/30-19R's would be much closer but I can't find them anywhere. It looks like Pirelli sold them as Sottozero's that GM used to send their press cars out with in previous years but they seem to be discontinued and no longer manufactured as of 2025.

For dedicated setups, are most people running a square setup with 275/35R19 tires on 19x9 wheels with an offset? That is what tire rack is recommending.

Had to jump to 20s to get anything close to usable, but pretty pleased with the results: VIDEO OF SETUP

The only thing I'd do differently is get 9.5" width rims in front instead of 9". There is a little too much pinch, which lowers sidewall height just a smidge.

If someone wants these front wheels I'll sell them for $1500 (my cost = $1900) just so I can order again and get them perfect. Otherwise, it's really minor and I don't really care that much.

I was checking Tire Rack for updated fitments for a winter setup over CCBs for my 2022 5BW and it turns out they never scanned that configuration. When I logged into the site I received a notification to update my info to std brakes, they had no option for CCBs for MY22. I had originally ordered the square OZs with 275/35/19s all around. They are only listing the 2026 MY now with CCBs and they are asking us to call for fitment. I am a bit concerned that the original square setup with OZs was not the right fitment with CCBs ....I mean they fit but the rears barely clear the calipers. Anyone else here with the square OZ 19x9 setup for winters with CCBs?

I’m not on that fitment but now Michelin makes sizes that fit on oem wheels in the Pilot Alpin Pa4s.

Just as an update Tire Rack confirmed that the square fitment was correct for cars with CCBs

My new to me 350 has Michelin Alpine all around at 295/35 19 and they’ve worked nicely in cold temps and slush. On Saturday I did get them to break traction when I gunned it to do a merge. Rear wheels spun a bit then caught traction.

Continuing saga: Discount, some time ago, showed Goodyear F1 Eagle all seasons as being available in 5 days. Wrong again. The latest they told me is they will be here 3/16, after saying 2/24. or "Mid February." This is NOT Discount's error, it is a distributor of Goodyear delaying after delaying.
Discount has been outstanding on working on my behalf, however, has offered to install the Milestar Chinese tires for no charge until the Goodyears come in. Fortunately, I still have legal tread on all 4 so not taking them up on that yet. Also some discussion of some refund for the trouble.
Also, fortunately, our weather has had only a few days under 40 this "winter" so the car has not been parked much.
Corporate rep of DT reached out to apologize and explain they have software chasms between stock and marketing, so the moral of the story is call your store before you order ANYthing that shows stock or short wait....
I would expect these tires to be widely available after the 16th and the fronts are fully stocked. You can't have my 2 rears .
