Aftermarket Wheels for CT5-V Blackwing

Pardon my ignorance. When changing wheel and tire sizes is there any effect on the speedo, transmission or other devices that determine maint based on mileage. I have purchased aftermarket wheels for my other vehicles but always kept the ratio as close as possible ( reduced tire sidewall to compensate for larger wheels etc. using an online sizing tool.) Does the BW use the same type of tech and is overall sizing a factor with the mileage etc? PFA previous vsport went from 18 inch to 19 inch wheel but changed tire size to keep almost the same circumference
It boils down to the OD. As long as you don't change that you won't have any issues related to your speedo.

Yeah, so best bet to shoot for the same overall diameter compared to stock. My rule of thumb is always close to stock but never over 3% difference. I use a wheel offset calculator and tire calculator to figure out what is stock and compare the sizes im going for. For the most part, my specs are like .7% within the stock specs iirc.

yes I planned on using the wheel tire comparison tool. Just wanted to make sure it was still required in case they had some new tech I wasn't aware of on these cars.

Where did you buy these wheels? I’ve been looking for BBS wheels for my blackwing

I love the way these look on the BW!
Are you getting any rubbing?
Also do happen to know the offset on these?

Thank you. I have/had BBS wheels on most my vehicles. So when hunting for these my options were limited. I had AR motorwerks in Pasadena, build the set for me. I don’t recall the offset but the owner Ron can definitely help. I had AMS Motorworks in NJ install the springs and dial these in. No rubbing whatsoever even with passengers.
