CT5-V 2026 Delivery Time

Just curious, I ordered a 2026 CT5-V and I’m amazed at how fast it went from order accepted to shipped. App 3 weeks. I just got the email from Cadillac to that the car is on its way. I traded it in to the dealer early, thinking that I should get a better price, and given how this winter is turning out, I wasn’t going to drive it anyway. As it turns out, he already had multiple people interested in it, The dealer doesn’t know, I was wondering what anyone’s experience was with delivery time,because with the 2023 , it took forever. I actually wish it would take at least a month. Thanks all

A friend of mine recently took delivery on his '26 5BW. His order to delivery time was similar to yours.

Yeah, my '23 5BW took just over 11 months from order entry to delivery. It was just when the world was coming out of COVID-19 & so many parts were still on constraint. None of the exterior carbon bits were available at the time. (My '23 C8 Stingray took exactly 13 months. My local Chevy dealership at the time was getting one allocation/month & I was #13 when I put down my deposit.)

Someone else here said GM orders are like bankruptcy- very slow and then all at once. There's a lot of waiting around to get your allocation, then waiting around for a production slot, but once you get there things tend to happy quickly.

Yeah actually the salesman called me Friday, and told me my car is on the truck,in Virginia. I imagine because of the weather, it was slightly delayed. It was supposed to be here Saturday. Given that I waited 11 months for my 2023 Blackwing, I was really surprised how quick this went from order to delivery.

Thank you, I read the thread but did not see a definitive answer on the 2027 BW. If the order book stays open until at least June, that would be great.

If you want one, order it now.

Because I have a project car in the garage that needs to be finished and out before I add anything new.

The longer you wait, the higher the chances that you will not get an allocation. Assume at least a 3 month lead time on any custom build allocation.
