Hi fellas,
I have been getting a Service Suspension System message with no drivability issues for a while now. Car is out of warranty,

Car is at the dealer, and they say it needs a right front vertical accelerometer. 140 for parts and 4.6 hours labor. Research says this is a 2 hour job. Are dealer tools needed to calibrate? I'm not a fan of being charged double, if that's what is happening.

Thoughts? Thanks.

For $22 you can get a 3-day login to acdelcotds and see what the actual procedure says. I assume this is the sensor that’s bolted to the suspension upright and it’s just like two bolts plus the wire.

Definitely sounds like the acceleration sensor for the magneride dampers. Worth checking into how easy it is to change yourself.
