Very interesting list. Kudos to Cadillac with 4 of the 10...though I do question the Celestiq a bit. Is it for the audacity of charging $360K+. I'm sure they have reasons for all of these picks (beyond even the little bit here). Glad to see both Blackwings get their due as well as the CTS-V wagon.

Cobalt interesting pick....I guess I can see it.

Corvettes worthy (just in general....don't know enough to say which specific models are deserving).

As for Ford - I'm a fan of both the Focus ST as well as the Mustang GT 350. The latter is the pinnacle of Mustang performance as far as I'm concerned. I feel there are some Shelby cars perhaps deserving to be on the list.

I imagine both the Tesla Model S as well as the Lucid are deserving....but electric cars getting 3 of the 10 slots....no...

The Celestiq pick is a bit weird. I notice it comes under its own heading so maybe, to give C&D their due, it is separate from the "Greatest American Heroes" list? I don't see any sense to it, as it has by no means been a commercial success or any kind of halo for the brand. In fact until today I forgot it existed :D

The Lucid, though, that's the real deal. I've had a few test drives (of the GT variant) and you can tell it was set up by car guys. The feeling through the chassis and the way it delivers power (a bit more like an internal combustion engine), it's great. The Sapphire must be a riot.

I don't think they picked it as an all-time great - the feature on greatest American cars was a sidebar to their main story of the Celestiq. Without seeing the whole page for context, easy to misinterpret.

Agree, the Lucid Air is lovely. I drove a base Pure trim the day after driving a base Taycan 4 and liked the Lucid more.

Just noticed wasn't just 10 cars - more like 13....14 with the Celestiq...
