Cadillac F1 entry

If you can't win in F1, then it becomes a massive money pit. Smaller teams have had to get out of F1 because of this. GM has deep pockets but they aren't going to be ok with losing year after year just to keep American drivers. In the end, winning pays the bills.
I'm sure they can find and develop talented American drivers if they try hard enough. I think a lot of the manufacturers take part to drive their passion and also to create a deeper meaning to their brand. Everyone has their opinion so I understand.

The FIA Super License points system is very bias toward European series making it very difficult for a US based driver to accumulate enough points. The other F1 teams have "Academy" drivers they support in lower series which allows them to evaluate talent and allow the driver to accumulate the required points. The drivers are also able to familiarize themselves with the tracks other than in a SIM. Cadillac will have to look at this model in order to build a pool of eligible US drivers.

I've enjoyed using the F1TV app. I can pull up the race on my tv and use a combo of my phone/tablet to pull up driver and timing feeds. I also really prefer the F1TV commentators, Palmer and DC are great and bring fantastic insight..and in my opinion they are better than the SKY team that the world feed uses.
Good to hear! That's my intended watch plan. Appreciate the world feed comment, too. By golly you've knocked out two birds with one stone!:bu

Not sure if that is good or not. I like recording the races and then watching them when I fully wake up. I hope Apple TV is going to have a re-watch option.

I'm not enthused at all either. The playback question. I haven't read an answer on that yet.
I expect nothing but full-blown mediocrity from Crapple on this. My credit card gives me free Apple TV so I'll try to watch. But I've trialed Apple TV and outright rejected it three(?) times. I am not amused with their "services", at all. I could easily go on for hours about their* shit but would (already did) trigger the cool-aid guzzlers. /blech. Look up Golden Master - it does not exist. End.
* I use/own 5-8 apple devices daily. so, um. yeah I'm screwed. Also have Lenovo Windoze. /Ugh/the telemetry. Oh, the Lenovo is Zorin Linux for the Merecedes programing. so, offline mostly. See.
