Cadillac should only use USA origin drivers and team members, no offense. Winning and greed isn't everything.

I agree with about the greed part but not the winning part. Anything worth doing is worth doing correctly. In this case correctly = winning.Cadillac should only use USA origin drivers and team members, no offense. Winning and greed isn't everything.
If that's your belief, you could have just said that Cadillac shouldn't be in F1 at all.Cadillac should only use USA origin drivers and team members, no offense. Winning and greed isn't everything.
That's always an option. It's their call, of course. If that's your belief, you could have just said that Cadillac shouldn't be in F1 at all.
Our cars must be trash since they were partly designed and built by people of non USA origin.Cadillac should only use USA origin drivers and team members, no offense. Winning and greed isn't everything.
Well, it would always be good if it was 100% U.S. built, but nowadays things have changed and we get parts and manufacturing from all over. Please don't misunderstand. Our cars must be trash since they were partly designed and built by people of non USA origin.
I went to my first F1 race in Austin in 2015, only year it ever rained there, and it flooded! It was a miserable experience but you're right, there were empty grandstands the whole weekend. Since Drive to Survive, suddenly everyone is an F1 fan. I've been to Miami in 2022 and then back to Austin again in 2024, both were absolutely sold out. Ridiculous crowds. Makes me not even want to go to another race again. It really sucks sitting in your car for up to 2 hours trying to get in and another 2 hours trying to get out of the venues with that many people.Unfortunately, that phenomenon has priced people like me out of the market for tickets. I'm lucky enough to live in Austin, so prior to the recent frenzy, I had gone every year.
Now my $300 seats are $1,500. And its sold out, so the entire 10 square mile property is shoulder-to-shoulder crowded, and it takes half a day to leave after the race. So I no longer attend.
Utter and complete insanity.
But if they still sounded like they did in 2012 with the NA V8, I'd still be tempted.
2026 is supposed to improve the sound, but I believe they'll still be running turbo V6s. Its such a tiny fraction of what they used to be its a tragedy.
It’s not a bad lineup and Bottas may be a little long in the tooth but he was around when Mercedes was starting out. That should lend some help but we will see on that.Could have done a lot worse for sure. Better than most starting teams. Checo is still in his prime, Bottas is probably past his. They're likely going to struggle anyway for a few years. Would have been better if they could have secured a Mercedes engine too instead of Ferrari but I suppose they couldn't be too picky until they have their own. Wish they had a better team principle though, that guy doesnt have a winning history in F1.
So it’s official Cadillac’s Two F1 drivers are Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas. I can’t wait for the 2026 season to start.
Hope that Ferrari engine is good. What is the best tv package to watch the season? I sent an email to F1 a few years ago but never heard back - imagine that. But I'd like to watch as much of the Cadillack team as possible. Any streaming or replay suggestions? ThanksCadillac thinks they will have their engine ready for the 2028 season so only a couple of years of using the Ferrari engine.
Should be on ESPN for most races. Typically the US tracks and Canada will be on ABC also if I recall.Hope that Ferrari engine is good. What is the best tv package to watch the season? You can also get the F1 app and pay for the season but most all of the races are on ESPN and I just record them and watch at my leisure.Hope that Ferrari engine is good. Thanks. I'll trial the F1 app next year and see what it's like - split screen action etc. Probably throw an F1 viewing party depending on race time - might get one or two in.You can also get the F1 app and pay for the season but most all of the races are on ESPN and I just record them and watch at my leisure.
Awesome! I'll bring guacamole.Thanks. I'll trial the F1 app next year and see what it's like - split screen action etc. Probably throw an F1 viewing party depending on race time - might get one or two in.
I've enjoyed using the F1TV app. I can pull up the race on my tv and use a combo of my phone/tablet to pull up driver and timing feeds. I also really prefer the F1TV commentators, Palmer and DC are great and bring fantastic insight..and in my opinion they are better than the SKY team that the world feed uses.Hope that Ferrari engine is good. Same here. My Cadillac F1 merch budget might end up rivaling my Cadillac gasoline budget. So it’s official Cadillac’s Two F1 drivers are Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas. I can’t wait for the 2026 season to start.
If you can't win in F1, then it becomes a massive money pit. Smaller teams have had to get out of F1 because of this. GM has deep pockets but they aren't going to be ok with losing year after year just to keep American drivers. In the end, winning pays the bills and promotes the brand more effectively.Cadillac should only use USA origin drivers and team members, no offense. Winning and greed isn't everything.
