My 4BW has developed an increasingly annoying dash rattle. I first noticed it last winter. I got a slight rattle right after start-up. As the interior warmed up the rattle would go away making me think it was some plastic bit that vibrated because of the cold but became more pliable as it warmed up.

Once the weather warmed up I'd still hear the rattle briefly when I went over bumps. Recently I took the car to Ohio which has especially rough roads and it seemed to get worse. I hear it less on NC's smoother roads, but it is definitely worse than before.

Any ideas on what it could be? I'm planning on taking it in under warranty. A car that costs this kind of money shouldn't do this. We have a 20-year-old Dodge van that doesn't have a single rattle or squeak.

Its the shifter mounting plate bushings. Old issues going back to ATS-V. Do a search and you will find lots of discussions. They all wear out way too prematurely.
Then there are the shifter assembly bushings waring and falling apart. But that's a separate story.

I had a rattle that I thought was coming from the middle of the dash board. It ended up being the plastic cover on the rearview mirror. I just wedged a couple peices of rubber betweenj the windshied and mirror cover and that did the trick.

Hope you get the rattle figured out and hopefully the dealer can help you out there as well. I'm sure the performance of this vehicle helps rattle the teeth of individuals as well. ; )

While I don't have a direct answer, my 4bw is a rattle trap. The rear view plastic housing as well as the door cards(handle area) both used to make noise in my car until new clips were installed and rubber around the RV mirror. ✌️

My carbon backed seats in my 4 squeak constantly. I either turn up the radio or exhaust to mask it.

Wherever it is rubbing up against to make it squeak, could you not try some ceramic spray on a rag and work it into the edges to maybe make it more slick?

Sorry @shbox I can't hear you. jkjk

No I haven't tried anything actually. As much as I do think that might help, I don't want additional maintenance on top of what I already have. Honestly with the car running alone, most of the squeaks are not very noticeable at all.
