I loved my 4BW over the past year and a half but I always had in the back of my mind that if I ever found a decent deal on a 5BW with a color that I love I would consider it. I was in for an oil change last week and the dealer had a beautiful Deep Space Metallic 5BW on the lot. I was able to take a test drive and it definitely did not discourage me. The initial price and trade in offered wasn't worth it and I made it clear that I loved my 4BW and was fine just keeping it. Eventually they lowered the cost down to my number. I was sad to leave the 4BW but am excited with the new 5BW. Plus, I get to go to Spring Mountain again!

Congratulations @Ramsman . That's a beautiful color combination. More details? 6M or 10A, etc.

It's a 6M like my 4BW was. It has the precision package and the Jet Black w Jet Black accents with full semi aniline leather seats and red seat belts. I think it's maxed out on options except for CF, I think that was on constraint when they ordered it. They usually order full optioned BW's. My only concern right now is it has the cup2 racing. tires that came with the precision package so I won't be driving in the rain as long as I have those tires. I have PPF scheduled in 2 weeks.

Amazing they had a precision package car on the lot. Was it ordered by a customer that backed out?

They seem to get a lot of BW's. I think they just order as many as they can with as many options as they can themselves to sell. They still have two 5BW's both with the precision package.

Congratulations !!

That is quite the find !! Car sounds amazing. Glad the $$$ worked out. Don't worry about rain.

I haven't had the Cup2Rs, but the Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3Rs they put on the Camaro ZL1 1LE were done in under 1,000 miles. It looked like all 1,000 were on the track when I got it, but that is an expensive lesson in tires.

Hope yours last at least into 4 digit mileage. :) At least the Cup2Rs are rated at 140, vs only 100 for the 3Rs.

I've got nearly 9k on my 3Rs. No track days but, plenty of canyons.

I had Cup2 tires on my GT350 and only got 6,900 miles out of them. No track, just street, with occasional spirited driving. I got caught in the rain only a couple times. They were absolute awful in the rain.

The Cup 2 on the 2019-20 GT350 (regular GT350, not the GT350R) were a FP (Ford Performance) specific compound that I found to last a bit longer than the regular Cup 2 tires. Same for the N (Porsche) spec tires.

Cup 2 tread wear rating is 180. The Cup 2 R is 140. I am currently running the Goodyear Supercar 3R as my track tire. They have 100 tread wear and one track day took a fair amount of life out of them. I might try the Cup 2 R next if I can find them at a reasonable price.

To get back on topic…Ramsman, beautiful car. Great spec and looks fantastic. Congrats on the new 5BW!

Maybe get some lightweight aftermarket wheels and put the Cup2s on those if you track it or just want to use them sparingly for fun. The stock wheels look nice but they are super heavy. Then get the TPC PS4s on the stock wheels. Of course, you'll need a third set of wheels if you want all seasons too...
