CT4-V Blackwing
I visited my local dealer to test drive a Vistiq. It is a nice car. If you have not experienced Vistiq, I highly recommend it. Vistiq will rock your world.

That was only the second most interesting thing about that visit. This coastal blue CT4-V non-blackwing apparently erroneously left the factory with a full complement of blackwing badges, despite not being a blackwing. I asked the salesman why this was, and he shrugged and was like "factory fucked up."

Anyway, that was mildly interesting. At first I thought they messed up putting the spoiler on too, but I later came to learn that you actually can get the black wing despite not having a blackwing as part of some onyx appearance package.

Other than the badges, which could be bought and applied by anyone, was there any other exclusive BW parts? Carbon seats, brakes, etc.?

So mostly it would just get someone laughed at. If you know what a Blackwing is, you'll immediately know that isn't one. It's no different than the poseurs that put V or M badges on their base model vehicles when it is painfully obvious they aren't.

The black badges are not applied at the factory - they are either dealer installed accessories (as per the sticker) or can be applied by anyone who can figure out how to purchase them.

So if this is a MY2025 that is still new, the dealer most likely messed up. All cars ship with the silver badges from the factory.

I would like to see a picture of the window sticker. That might tell the story behind this build. 🤔

Interesting Sethsquire's photos show the actual car with the standard BW plastic trunk spoiler, but the stock photos show the upgraded carbon style spoiler.

And the almost criminally misleading badges. An enterprising young lawyer might make a good payday off that car purchase.

I don't see RRT anywhere on the sticker or the description. I only see Coastal Blue Metallic.

I think sometimes those Cadillac web page links act strangely. They all open to the Coastal blue for me, but maybe the link doesn't work the same for others. The snapshot above is of the .pdf I posted.
