CT4-V Front bumper removal - caught road debris to the grill

Update: I ordered a new grill but won’t get it until the UAW strike is over. So plan B was build/repair the one I have. Took me about three days to do, not a clean as I would like but when Monday rolls around it needs to be back together.

CT4-V Front bumper removal - caught road debris to the grill

Has anyone removed the front bumper? I started the day by catching something with the upper grill of my car this morning. I did get lucky that nothing hit any of the heat exchangers. Now I’m driving around like a hockey player. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

I warmed up to it pretty quick. Also makes it real easy to find the car in a sea of black, gray and white.

    Spring Mountain Impressions

Yes the Nannie’s are on point. I use to drift and figure 8 my old pickup pretty easily in dirt and snow. But the CT4 definitely takes some practice to get it right.

No issues taking pictures or videos. They did as that you use a suction cup mount instead of the 3M type. Of course they don’t want you holding the camera taking pictures or video while driving.

    Spring Mountain Impressions

We ate at Mom’s dinner and Carmelo’s Bistro. Both are on the smaller side but good. They both had enough variety for my wife and kids.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Had my car at the detail shop getting the front ended PPF installed and mirrors sprayed black. Great use of the downtime while I was at Spring Mountain.

    Spring Mountain Impressions

I was also there in the 15th and 16th. What a great time! Some additional thoughts on the experience. The instructors were very helpful and great at coaching you while driving at speed. The skid pad was a blast. It really helped me understand how the car would react if I ever get it pushed to...

So my coworkers z06 was stolen from our work garage

What part of town? I work right off the Katy freeway and park in the garage at work, but a coworker had his Sierra stolen from the ‘secured’ lot about a year ago.

Show up to work before everyone and go to the highest covered parking level. I bank on people being too lazy to walk up 4 flights of stairs, works like a charm.

Anyone else purchased a lightly optioned 4BW?

I was looking at building a low option car, only requirement was cooled seats. Got lucky and found a car with cooled seats and a sunroof. I would have preferred the bronze wheels instead of the sunroof but having a car vs waiting for a car was more important.

MT Buyers Only: If MT was not available, would you still buy a Blackwing?

I was looking for a manual after making the mistake of selling my manual SS. Plus my daughter wants to learn how to drive a stick so that helps. Also last of the ICE hot rod Cadillacs.
