it seems like a simple fix. I’ll just remove the unit, put some foam along the edges and put it back on. I’m only concerned that it’ll affect the warranty if it doesn’t work or it gets worse and I have to take it in.

Noticed a squeaking coming from the unit above the rearview while on my way down to Parumph a few weeks back. The squeaking stops if I put my hand on it. You guys think this is something I can/should take it in to the dealership for, or something I should just fix myself?

Can confirm. I hadn’t been stopped at the border bug check station between CA/NV in over 20 years. I’ve been stopped twice in the last month… both times to compliment my car. Also get compliments at gas stations as well. Great choice man.

Oh most definitely running two amps man. No question. I’ll have to check wavtech out. I have a shallow mount Alpine 12” in my Lexus right now and it slaps. Gonna be a couple months before I can even consider it for real though. Not sure how I’ll justify it to my wife (who hates loud music)...

Awesome. I might actually see about putting a ten on one side and a twelve on the other. I’ve never heard of wavtech. I’ve always gone Alpine, Pioneer, or MTX. This is the first car I’ve owned where getting subs wasn’t the first thing I did.

Fosho. I meant to suggest a grill to protect it when you got stuff in the trunk. Did you talk to them about a 12”, or that size wouldn’t fit? Personally I dig the deeper bass that a 12” can put out comparatively. Though the best system I ever had was two tens and two twelves. It was stupid...
