Well, I like all the fancy bells and whistles, but it's too expensive for me . . . especially since my DDHC will outperform it in every category, except for fanciness . . . I would buy one if it could keep up with the DDHC and was priced more reasonably though . . .

Well, because it's 2 years newer . . . and there are probably some refinements and upgrades that aren't or weren't available in the '21 models, like better security against theft . . .
Now that the 2023 Durango Hellcats are a thing, I might end up trading the one I have in on one of those . . . or, maybe just sell it and pay cash for most, if not the whole price of the new one . . .
According to what I read this morning, the Escalade-V will be able to do 0-60 in "under 4.4 seconds" . . . it's a 7000lb beast but is only able to tow 7000lbs . . . and, the MSRP starts at $130K . . . even though I'm a former GM Employee, and can get Employee Pricing, I'm sure there is no way...

So, Rob--I realize that I have abandoned my order, but it seems odd that the car I ordered still has a status of 3800, since it was built the week of January 10th . . .

So, my order was set for a TPW of this week . . . Rob's update shows that it's been produced (status 3800) . . . now I am starting to question whether or not to move forward with the order and take delivery . . .
