on my ct4 bw manual, the rev matching is indicated by the change of color of the gear indicator on the dashboard. the gear indicator is white when not rev matching, and turns to yellow with rev matching. I'm assuming it will be the same on the 5BW.

    Cadillac Smart Driver Tips

I want to thank the good folks at GM for engineering and building my CT4-Blackwing with the six speed manual transmission. I've owned the car for about 2 1/2 months now, and the vehicle has made running errands much more interesting and fun! I greatly appreciate the 472 ponies under the hood...

CT4-V What Don't You Like About Your CT4-V Blackwing

I have the 4BW 6spd. I'd like to be able to start the engine without my foot on the brake. If I'm in my garage, or another level surface, why do I have to have my foot on the brake? Is it the GM lawyers?

MT Buyers Only: If MT was not available, would you still buy a Blackwing?

I had a 2010 Mitsubishi Evo with the auto transmission. It was a really good transmission as far as upshifting and downshifting, really good. (Dual automated clutch and all). You could throw it through the corners and it just grabbed on to everything. It was a really good vehicle, but I just...

At least you can get some action in the back seat. Another win for the BW!

I drive barefoot all the time. Maybe in the old days folks needed to use shoes for some reason, but bare feet give much better tactile feedback IMHO. I kept the flipflops on the floorboard in the passenger seat in case I get pulled over.

MT Buyers Only: If MT was not available, would you still buy a Blackwing?

I liked the M3 grill and seriously considered the M3 manual. Allocations of the M3 were in short supply, and more expensive. I read that the 4BW is an excellent vehicle, although some journalists have faulted the 3.6 l. I have found the 3.6 excellent, the 6 spd manual great...I love the...

Again from Houston... Think about a 4BW

There is a person that posts on this site and I think he owned the M2 competition.

Again from Houston... Think about a 4BW

I've owned a 2006 MB SLK 55, a 2010 MazdaSpeed 3, 2010 Mitsu Evolution, etc. I really like the 4BW. Back seat is usable for kids, groceries, or super small adults.

Again from Houston... Think about a 4BW

Hi Houston, I'm here in San Antonio, not that it matters. I sold my Mitsubishi Evolution to buy the 4BW 6spd manual. It's a different vehicle, but I really really like it. Tremendous amounts of power, and no noticeable turbo lag. Feels like a V-8 almost, except for the sound. The engine is...

It's a lot of fun. I don't think I could be much happier with the vehicle.
