We bought the 96 mo. / 80,000 mi. GMPP contract ($100 deductible) from James Black Cadillac when our 5BW had 7,846 miles on it. We paid $2,783.00. It's the third GMPP contract we've purchased from James Black Cadillac over the years.
The one we purchased on our Yukon Delani has already paid...
Like several others here, I think this sums it up pretty well. Having a detector helps; nothing more. After driving with them for years, I feel inhibited without one. Like driving with one eye closed. More information is better. Keep your head on a swivel.
I'm surprised at the number of...
I tend to agree. I owned a '16 SS for over five years. I loved it. In fact if it hadn't been stolen, I would almost certainly still be driving it and I wouldn't have a 5BW.
I'm not sure I get all the love being lavished on the SS interior -- especially compared to the 5BW. It was nice...
I passed a black 5BW in my neighborhood earlier this week -- only my 2nd ever confirmed sighting of one in the wild. And of course, it's the first week in the 3+ months since we got ours that I wasn't driving it (supposed to rain here all week). I was in my Yukon, so the driver had no reason...
I used Performance Clear Bra in Fort Worth. They did PPF on the front, ceramic coating all over (including wheels) and tinted the windows. They did a great job and were very professional and easy to deal with. Highly recommended.
Ask for William Colon (pronounced like cologne).
I'll have to let Terrance explain what is meant by "OEM+" with respect to offset, backspacing, etc.
My request was to have 19x10s & 19x11s that were direct-swap replacements for the OEM wheels, allowing me to mount the original tires using the original lug nuts and TPMS sensors. No spacers...
Thank you. We're very happy with them. Here are are few more pics.
And I'll add that the buying experience was just as first-rate as the wheels themselves. Terrence is a pleasure to deal with. The wheels arrived on time, in perfect condition, and were exactly as ordered. They mounted and...
Interesting. I've never encountered that before. FAT32 is definitely a dinosaur and it's frankly surprising that it works with large volumes at all. It could be that I'll encounter the same problems as the card fills up. We'll see...
Well, now you're taxing my poor memory -- which admittedly doesn't take much these days.
I used either Disk Utility under MacOS, or this free utility for Windows that was recommended in another thread on this forum with Windows 10 under VMWare Fusion on my Mac. I know for sure I...
Odd… I wonder why. On the off chance it matters, this is the SD Card I'm using. I originally bought two the 256GB version, hoping to use one in the PDR, and the other in the SVR. It worked perfectly right out of the package in the PDR -- no reformatting necessary. It did NOT work in the SVR...
