    CT5-V CT5V BW Burning 4qtz/Thousand miles

Look for a state that doesn't regulate the price of extended warranties. For example, Florida regulations prevent dealers from being able to discount them. Some other states do not. And stick to GM warranties. There are so many aftermarket warranty companies that are junk.

    CT5-V CT5V BW Burning 4qtz/Thousand miles

The poor response is typical for General Motors. They are extremely arrogant and try to hide behind the dealers. We all think that because we purchased a Cadillac, that we will get "Cadillac" service. When we do feel like we get "Cadillac" service, it is generally because we are working with a...

Ok cool! Post the final product. We would all like to see.

    Badge removal/replacement

I just pulled the front emblem off, separated it into two pieces, and then painted one flat and the other satin. The rear emblem I had made by a local 3d printer and then I finished it and painted. I just removed all the rest.

I would pull all of them off. The only one that has holes behind it is the center Cadillac emblem on the trunk.

    Tire/wheel (basic) question

Yes, very sure. This is out of the actual dealer order system.

    Tire/wheel (basic) question

The 20's shown in the above pic are for the regular CT5, non Blackwing model. The Blackwing is only available with 19's from the factory.

V8V Precision Package and Q2Y 19” Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires signed acknowledgment

Not sure if this has already been covered. Cadillac is requiring dealers to have customers sign a customer acknowledgement form when they take delivery of the V8V Precision Package and Q2Y 19” Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires. It references the need to replace all 4 tires if one needs to be...

General Advice for First Time 5BW Owners

Don't shut the traction control off for a while until you get a feel for it. The 5 can bite you if you're not ready for it. Pay attention to how the car reacts on the full throttle 1-2 shift. Think twice before you really get on it with traffic around you. Remember that all roads are different...

How much of that noise is fake?

I can add one thing. I installed a pair of Flowmaster Super 10 mufflers and removed the valves from the system. Now in tour mode there are no pops on the deceleration, but in the track mode it pops a lot on deceleration. This tells me that the pops are created by the fuel/ignition management...

CT5-V Max tire size (diameter, width) you can put on stock 5BW suspension w/no rubbing?

Any proven combo for drag radials on the stock wheels? The car definitely needs all the help it can get in first gear.

    5BW daily driver

I would say it's the perfect daily for a car guy. It's super tame when needed, and plenty of fun when you want it. Also easy to park and just enough ground clearance to get in and out of all places without having to worry. The tires have just enough sidewall to work through the bumps without...

    Warranty Block on 4BW M6

It is possible. They would have to design a gate or a solenoid that would slide into place to keep from being able to shift into the wrong gear above a certain RPM. Kind of like the 1-4 shift that we all hated. It would just work in the opposite way under different parameters.
