In my experience you can only file a diminished value claim if you were not at fault. When I hit a deer in my Shelby last year I tried to make a claim in addition and you cant go after your own insurance for diminished value. Now in 2021 I had a C8 and a local "tint" shop said they could wrap my...
They probably washed it at dispatch. When I was waiting for mine, I reached out to the plant yard.....dont ask me how I got the number.......the lady was super nice, she said every car is washed before its loaded on the truck, not sure how much truth there is to that, but not sure why shed lie...
I'm not a mechanic by any means. I have the luxury of working at a GM dealership and have a shop foreman/Master tech that has experience working on modified cars etc...
He did the install in about 4 hours, he said it was pretty straight forward, just tight getting at a couple of the o2 sensors.

I traded this in on my BW....

I hit a deer on 4/20, did 28k worth of damage and Carfax shows a minor accident......
IMO it wont catch...
What you do with your car is your business, just throwing my 2 cents in, cause......internet....
I am not trying to defend GM, I believe that their process, especially as it pertains to specialty cars could use some work, especially on the logistics side.
With the Blackwings and Corvette, we...
I had a co worker drive my car today to see if the Continentals I just put on drove funny, and on a unrelated note I wanted to get a couple videos outside the car.
