    Considering Carbon Ceramic Brakes

I am not so sure the feel is because of brake-by-wire. The CCB brakes on the BW feel almost exactly like the CCB on my 2015 911 Turbo s (I think the rotors are similiar size too). The 911 is traditional boosted hydraulic.

    A small nit-picky complaint

I didn’t realize a firm signaling stalk with positive engagement was a “premium feature”😂 i have been taking that for granted all these years. At the end of the day it doesn’t take away from your driving enjoyment, but I noticed the first time I signaled.

    Considering Carbon Ceramic Brakes

Maybe grabby was the wrong word, pedal pressure needed is much lighter for the comparable braking rate on other performance vehicles with iron rotors. They engage perfectly smoothly and in a linear way, pedal inputs are just amplified. I have never had a brake by wire car, and in my limited...

    CT5-V 2023 CT5-V Blackwing Order Banks Closed!?

I just picked my car up a few days ago and my dealer told me the same thing. I thought at the time he meant that their dealership was just not taking additional orders, but it is in line with this post. Seems so crazy, that they are limiting production so dramatically. It almost seems like...

    A small nit-picky complaint

Does anyone else feel that the blinker lever feels sort of flimsy? Maybe I am just Brutish in the way I operate controls, but I feel like when I signal to change lanes, or turn I can feel the stalk flexing in a way I have never noticed in another car. it also feels like there is not a...

    Considering Carbon Ceramic Brakes

To anyone considering carbon ceramic brakes, you should be aware that they are really “grabby” at low speeds when driving around town. The initial bite of the brakes is very strong even with VERY light pedal pressure. I have a 911 with them as well, and it feels exactly the same way. It...

Anyone in Southern California willing to trade base CT5 Blackwing seats for the upgraded suede back Light gray and black seats

You would definitely need to switch a bunch of parts, front and rear seats, arm rests, on both doors and center cubby holder, would still be off also because base seats don’t come with suede interior accents. It is not a viable plan. It is funny because the cars are so hard to get, and...

Anyone in Southern California willing to trade base CT5 Blackwing seats for the upgraded suede back Light gray and black seats

Picked up my car and haven’t had a chance to drive it much, But I LOVE it. I bought another customers order that they didn’t want and the only thing I don’t like is the light gray and white seats. Car is brand new and if anyone in Southern California is willing to trade their base black seats...

    Body color side markers

I read another post about a Rift metallic colored car and he had wrapped his side markers to be paint matching. I would like to do this, does anybody know what brand/color of wrap is closest in color to rift? I also want dark badges, has anyone done this with film rather then replacing the badges?

CT5-V You wait and then you get lucky.

I had no choice they were already in the middle of applying the coating when I bought it. Small compromise to make.

CT5-V You wait and then you get lucky.

I am relatively late to the party in becoming aware of what great cars Cadillac has in the Blackwings. I am a hardcore fast car guy, and have had M3, M5, M6 and currently have a chipped Audi S8, and a 911 Turbo S with a few mods (both finally paid off 😁). The Audi is getting a little long in...
