I say drive the sh*t out of it since you paid for it. That's the one thing I regret that I didn't do after I sold my car. These things were made to be beat on, otherwise you're wasting your time and money.
In the end, it's worth it! Normal paddles will feel lacking by comparison. Sometimes I do wish the paddles were solid metal since the carbon fiber has some flex to it.
The torx screws are the easier part of the install. The hard part is disconnecting the wires and reconnecting them since they are extremely short. I ended up disconnecting the main harness in order to have some play in the wire. That alone is the reason I would actually remove the steering...
Took a few hours. Had to watch an online video of someone taking off their steering wheel on their CT5. I didn't remove mine but I would if I did it again. Might be easier to have the dealer do it.
