Traded my 13 Mustang GT and my leased CT6 for my 4BW

Well dealer is replacing the full exhaust system in my car and I am hopefull the annoying rattle will be gone!

Well dealer diagnosed the rack as the issue so getting new rack and pinion. I was hoping wasn’t the case as you need to drop the subframe. Oh well at least I have a loaner. Driving a Lyriq and you know what it’s better than expensive expected

My 4BW steering has started clunking. It’s when I transition from left to right or right to left. Clunks every time almost feels like a gear is missing a tooth as it skips over. Anyone deal with this? Scheduled time at the dealer which I don’t like taking it in at all costs.

Thanks I have seen it before and was under impression it was for earlier LF4 LF3 engines. Worth asking to see if it’s an option. It drives me nuts lol

Thanks for input, mine is definitely up front underneath. I think it’s the watergates these are famous for. Likely will just deal with it instead of having turbos changed to have it come back anyway.

Was noise at the rear of the car where the valves are located? Mine sounds up front per say

I took mine in for this noise and they replaced the starter. Said it was contacting the flywheel. Dramatically better and still has some noise but I no longer feel like my car is a POS lol

Had this recall done this week. I see they needed to replace a brake line. My steering feels different after and wonder what parts they needed to take off to get it done. Going to take a look over the weekend.

The rears are $315 fyi

No change at 27k miles Agree need to slip clutch with some revs for it to be really smooth

Thanks for info My car also has either exhaust rattle or waste gate rattle so doing both at same time makes sense. Time for the dealer…yuck :)

Thanks for info, it sounds like it’s hitting the tunnel so that makes sense. Do they take the console out to replace or drop trans?

Morning When it’s cold outside and 4BW is parked outside for full day the shifter is really loud for first few minutes. 20 degrees and under is typical spot. It’s loud when shifting and when first moving will be loud her car hits bumps. Goes away pretty quick and goes back to normal. It’s a...
