    Z06 guys are lucky

For what it's worth Fantom Works in Virginia put an LT4 in a '69 Chevelle. It took major revision of the front frame as that engine is huge in length and width but it did work and sound fantastic. They got the engine as a crate sale, so I would guess it is obtainable.

All seasons in correct sizes for 5BW! 50 mileage warranty, 186 mph rated. So inexpensive they're probably Chinese, but available at Discount for around 700 for all 4...anyone heard of these??

    CT4-V CT4VBW vs. Porsche 911 (991 Carrera S) - Am I making a mistake?

I had a 911 GTS and sold it, eventually to get the 5BW. The Porsche was too loud, too low, and too limited for daily use.

6mm spacers for OE wheels: flat or raised center rib?

Do I use the flat 6mm spacers or the ones with the raised lip in the center edge? Even the flat ones are available hubcentric, but is the wheel hub long/tall enough not to need the raised lip?

Another question: for OE wheels do the spacers need the raised bore rim, or can they be completely flat? I'm thinking 6mm spacers...

    Seat Belt Chime Disable

easiest way is to buy what is sold as seatbelt extenders, which are just buckles with no belt. Leave them plugged in and no chime ever.

Absolute Dearth of All-Season Tires for CT5-V Blackwing

My point, despite the snide comments, is that here in Southern Texas, truly cold is rare, and a matter of days per year. I don't find it useful to put on tires that are mainly for snow AND cold, in sizes that are not optimal, for those few days. Despite the superior attitudes by the usual kind...

Absolute Dearth of All-Season Tires for CT5-V Blackwing

Have driven plenty of them at 20degrees with a lot of extra care. In the case of the 5BW there appears to be no viable alternative. Awareness of traction issues is certainly needed. I'm referring to the warning that those tires could actually crack or blowout in the cold, which seems entirely a...

    Fuel pump cutoff switch

Anyone wire a toggle into the pump circuit? location for wiring would be helpful. This old hack saved my BMW from going missing 50 years ago.
