In my experience it is better in a dense city setting, if I am driving aggressive and need to see what cars are behind me I go back to the standard mirror view. I do prefer it in the foggy mornings or in heavy rain

It’s a full time system, not just in reverse. Nighttime and rainy weather view are improved as well

I have a local painter who does all the custom work for Mancuso Harley Davidson here in Houston. He painted a silver one for me @ $100, whenever you are ready reach out to me and we can try and get one done for you

Unfortunately GM only sells the antenna camera in black at this time, I have tried to find painted ones thru the supply houses

The antenna cover is held on with 8 torx screws and can easily be painted at your local painter.
