I hesitate to insert myself into an oil thread - ha! But I think the general consensus amongst the oil nerds is that th 5w50 is good for a short time - i.e. track use. But even in southern/summer temps the 0w40 is more appropriate for daily/road driving and/or trypical oil change intervals.

But AWE doesn't make anything I can buy for my 5BW :)

I like Speed Diagnostix/Lake Speed Jr. but he/they are proud of their analysis. If you can do without the write-up's, I think the Oil Analyzers lab (available for purchase thru Amsoil website) is generally regarded as the best lab and bang-for-buck.

I think you can make the code anywhere between 3 and 20 button presses. As for stalling, I don't know. I'll have to try it and find out. But between the BW's torque, its throttle shall we say "assistance" and being an Excellent, Excellent Driver - I've never stalled mine.
