    CT4-V Rotor min thickness

Save yourself some time chasing the spec. 30k miles with zero track days means your rotors are certainly fine for another set of pads. Find the spec at 60k on your next pad change.

    Camber

There is nothing to raise hell about as that camber setting is close to nominal and within spec. 16900 miles is a very reasonable amount for summer tires on a performance car. I got 11k on my first set. Your experience is normal operation. If you reduce front camber your car is going to have...

CT4-V 4BW issues the dealer can’t figure out

Do you notice a performance issue? I retired from chasing mystery sounds a long time ago and recommend the same to others if you want to keep your hair. Much easier to diagnose a performance issue and if there isnt a performance issue…. Is there really an issue?

    Am I crazy?

I have had a few cocktails so I’ll toss a molotov into this thread for good fun. I saw the earlier post about Camissa. The part left out is that curmudgeon (and smoking tire) indicate the 4BW is the better car. They indicate that because it is. I drove both. I “can afford” the 5. I bought the...

    Michelin PS4S issue

What is the issue? Everything looks pretty good to me…

CT4-V Track alignment for daily driving

Yes, for sure! I am in a little bit of a challenging period of life regarding free time (2 year old, 6 year old, wife and I both work relatively demanding jobs) so track time will hopefully increase.... some day lol.

CT4-V Track alignment for daily driving

Bumping this thread back up. I've been running run -2.0 front and -1.5 rear camber with .1 total toe in per axle. I have 11K miles on this set up with only 1 relatively light track day - so it's essentially a street car. I do love the performance and handling of this set up on the street and...

    Rear Diff Fluid

Correct. The fluid in question is just the gear which is totally separate as you mention.

    Rear Diff Fluid

Correct. Just the GM part is discontinued, the AC Delco part 10-4131 remains (its not new , its been the AC Delco part number for a while)

    Interesting test of JB4

You have a company car blackwing? Where do you work and are you hiring?

    CT5-V CT-5 BW Noisy Engine

Not saying its oil for aure but if it was me, step 1 would be a new (on spec) oil and filter change and then reassess

    Apex Wheels for CT4-V Blackwing

Looks perfect. Looks like the track width both front and rear has been widened a bit vs stock - front and rear look fairly close to flush - definitely a wider track than stock. can you confirm that's the case and no rubbing or handling issues? This is exactly the set up I am looking at and it...

Has anyone owned both 4vBW and 5vBW?

Yea for sure. You referenced the same point ive made. The 4 is actually essentially mid engined with that stubby little 6 smashed into the firewall. I have to think think that is the main ingredient in the secret sauce.

Has anyone owned both 4vBW and 5vBW?

My beef is the lack of revs (which the LT4 and LT1 both suffer from equally). Give me the S62 8400rpm redline from the e90 m3 or perhaps the s85 v10 screaming to 8200 or whatever it is and i would be in heaven. Forced induction of any type is great for performance but kills the soul a bit
