Okay cool I'll check it out I'm not sure why most of the intakes are all plastic as opposed to having something metal like the cold air inductions intakes. You say it fits perfectly and anything about avoiding warranty I'm pretty sure it takes don't void warranty. My goals are to hear the whine more and let it breath. I read somewhere that the intake that Cadillac put on the car is optimized for the tune that's currently stock on the car but I'm not sure how true that isI went with the JLT cold air intake as I really like the looks of it and the quality and fitment is top notch. I'm looking for some ideas to dress up the engine bay on my 5BW. I would love to see what other members have done.
So far I've applied Cerakote Ceramic Trim Coat to all the plastic pieces and replaced the engine cover with a carbon fiber one.
On the list of things to do is powder coating the SC lid and strut tower bar.
Do you hear your supercharger more just from the intake?
