Curious about your feeling on the interior PPF. I asked my PPF guy about stealth PPF on the screen and gloss for the carbon (just the center console, I don’t have the carbon seats). But my guy was very reluctant on interior PPF. Basically he said use a screen protector for the screen (like a phone screen) and don’t worry about the carbon because it’s got a pattern that won’t really show scratches. He seemed concerned about removing the PPF, esp the screen. I haven’t noticed any glare from the screen so I just left it naked

I had the entirety of my interior CF, including seatbacks, covered in standard Xpel gloss film when I had my 5BW done. No trim had to be removed, including seatbacks. While it's true that most of the trim is probably in a location that isn't super scratch prone, I wanted maximum coverage especially on the center console around the shifter and the seatbacks. I also debated between gloss and matte, but my installer did a test piece with matte and it definitely took away a lot of the texture/pattern that comes through on the CF so I stuck with gloss.

For the screen, my installer also didn't recommend using the exterior film on the screen; thankfully there are phone-screen style protectors readily available in both gloss and matte, one source below:

In the sunlight. Metallic shines through. Pretty true to the advertised images Cadillac advertised the Deep Ocean Blue - a deeper subdued blue (vs brighter Coastal Blue) with all black trim.

Honestly I am surprised to see so many DOB's out there on the market, Perhaps some are already sold and dealers are putting them out there to get another potential sale??

i think that they just show up on websites when dealers put them into their system. Even if sold they show up

The fixed the price on the Deep Ocean BW at Cadillac of Laguna Niguel. Its now showing at MSRP as normal ($129,790). It may have gone through their discount algorithm when it originally posted and then they fixed it.

I picked up my Deep Ocean yesterday. The dealers can likely control what appears on their website. The car I got was received there around 4/23/2025 and never showed up on the dealer's website in any status state (In Transit, Available, Sale Pending).
