GM stops taking orders for CT4 on April 20. So your order needs to be in and accepted by GM before then.

A CA dealer submitted my info into the system. They're now waiting for a build slot.

GM stops taking orders for CT4 on April 20. So your order needs to be in and accepted by GM before then.

Took the words right out of my mouth......time running out....may want to reach out to David at Sewell @speedygonzalez regarding any allocation he may have.

I should have a good chance of getting you a build slot because I do not have many CT4-V Blackwing orders in line. We have been able to get allocation for the CT4-V Blackwings pretty well.

Several years ago when I ordered my Z06s from out of state (because CA dealers were all charging ADM), the car was courtesy delivered to a local dealership. Is that possible with you? Thanks.

We are not able to do that because it would be like the car going to that dealership to be sold, not sold at Sewell Cadillac. I have looked into it before. It would be like using one dealership's allocation, but being sold out of another.

With the Corvettes that I bought out of state, I paid directly to the selling dealer.
The car was delivered to a local dealer near me, I paid them something like $500 to take it in and do the PDI. That was it.
I guess that arrangement is not a thing anymore.

I have heard of it before which is why I asked, but they said we can't do it. Maybe it is a Corvette thing. It would be super convenient for me/Sewell if we could do that. We get GM employee cars here to do pdi and deliver without selling them, but that is different I think.

As I saw it explained before, courtesy delivery had to be agreed upon by the two involved dealerships. One dealership mentioned in what I saw said that if they did not have a relationship or implicit trust in the delivering dealer, they would not allow courtesy delivery of a car ordered from them. Basically, the dealer that the car was ordered from loses control of the delivery and things can get mucked up if there is a problem. Most dealers want to protect their reputation and don't want to be exposed in that way.
