I'm thinking of swapping to an LME 427 and using a ported Whipple instead of my current ported 2650. Thoughts on the Whipple vs the 2650 for that motor?

The motor can handle 2k but you won't be making anywhere near that with a 3.0 Whipple or 2650. Would need turbos or procharger for more than 1.3k WHP IMOI wonder how does one stop the chassis from twisting into a pretzel with those kinda horsey's?
I'm already $60k in, what's another $60k for the perfect daily driver? That's a ton of money and then I'm thinking that's going to be a ton of load on the stock components if it's really 2000 horsepower. You're going to have to spend a lot more money with upkeep on the vehicle because of the higher power and stress on the internal and external components. That's $40,000+ we're talking about on a $100,000 vehicle.
Maybe you're better off building your own custom car opposed to messing up a good thing in the Black Wing.
You can always put that same money into something that comes with much higher performance right out of the box from the factory and while trying to maintain the resale value with the money you put into it. There's no such thing as perfection and the addiction will always tend to continue.I'm already $60k in, what's another $60k for the perfect daily driver?
I have no illusions about maintaining any sort of resale value. No other car is interesting to me.You can always put that same money into something that comes with much higher performance right out of the box from the factory and while trying to maintain the resale value with the money you put into it. Glad you're enjoying your vehicle and will continue to enjoy with the additional modifications.I have no illusions about maintaining any sort of resale value. No other car is interesting to me.
The only other car I would consider is getting back into a Viper but that's not practical given I have two kids and my main concern is having a daily that is fun.
The last thing I want is something to keep in my garage that I get to play with on the weekend or seldom at the track; I want something I can have fun with daily.
I'm definitely not saying to 1020 wheel horsepower I currently have is not fun, but I would not mind for it to be higher.
