I switched to my all season tires and rims last week, They are alternate OEM rims and the correct tire size. (I bought the Dunlap Zeons before discontinued) . They have OEM TPM and worked fine on my 2023. Now on the 2026 they keep triggering the Tire Pressure Monitoring system warning. Yes I go through the "relearn" and it works fine for about 30 minutes they I get "service tire monitoring system" message on the dash and the pressure reading goes blank. I have done the "relearn" several times...same result. The tires have adequate pressure. Any thoughts? Again, no such problem with the 23' BW with same set up.

Same TPMS you ran on the '23? I wonder if the frequencies different?

What are you doing for the relearn process? Are you using the tool or just driving around?

When I swap to my track wheels (no relearn), I do not get an error until about about 20-30min. I am guessing it has to not recognize the sensors for a certain distance before it will display a code. I bought a relearn tool but I will not be swapping to track tires until spring to test if it works with the TPMS I have on those wheels.

You’re going to have to put the car into relearn mode: parking brake on, out of gear (MT), press start button for 5 seconds to wake up car without starting engine. Go to vehicle settings, to tire pressures, to relearn mode.

If you have the reset tool ($15 on Amazon), go to the LF tire, you should see the turn signal lamp illuminated on mirror. Hold the tool to side of tire next to valve stem until the horn beeps. Repeat for the other 3 tires, following the illuminated lights on the car.

If you don’t have the tool, same procedure should work with letting 5-8psi of air out of each tire instead of using the tool.

If that doesn’t work, your tire pressure sensors may not be compatible with the new model year.

I appreciate the replies. I am not using the tool..just the relearn process using the "maintenance" menu on the car. The dealer installed the TPS onto the new rims on the 2023 so guessing they used the correct process (tool). I just installed the same tire/rim/TPS on the new car. I found a bunch of relearn tools on Amazon. Can someone provide a link to one that works on the BW? Thanks

Any of them will work, but this one double dips with Ford, a twofer:

The tool and letting the air out of the tire method both “wake up” the sensor when the car is in learn mode, and the car then knows to pair with them.

Otherwise, it’s ignoring the tpms signal even though they may been paired in the past. Car only sees one set at a time.
