My 4BW is one of the special editions, an IMSA Road Atlanta car.

The car has carbon fiber backs on the front seats.

They look nice but they produce an irrirating squeak when you're driving.

Anyone have a solution other than removing them? Thanks, Don

I assume the dealers you've tried to use haven't been helpful. That would be the first option.

Second option would be to remove the carbon seat backs and look for where they're rubbing. Judicious use of adhesive-backed felt in those regions should fix the problem. The skill is in the placement and amount you use such that it doesn't make it impossible to fit the carbon back on and so that you don't just create a new point of friction somewhere else.

Thanks, I haven't yet talked to the local dealer. Will do so. Your response sounds on the money. I'll see the dealer first. Don
