My wife and I will be at spring mount next week. She's just my plus one, she's not driving.

She told me to ask my "Forum Friends" what activities are available during the day when I'm in class so she can pack appropriately.

So my best Forum Friends, what activities have your +1's enjoyed / whats available around spring mountain (on and off property)

She should catch a few rides riding right seat with the instructors.

July is brutal for outdoor activities (even Spring Mountain in my opinion)...I'd set some realistic expectations about what will be available to her without risking heat stroke. I'd set her up at a hotel in Vegas with a pool and pool bar and tell her you'll see her in 2 days, lol.

If you don't mind a commute of about an hour, you can stay in Vegas with her in the evenings.

When we went, my wife sat in the classroom sessions, drove to the tower to watch my track sessions and rode with instructors to other sessions to watch and take pictures. She also did a ride along with an instructor. She really enjoyed the class as an observer.

I told her she could come to the classes... Before she even opened her mouth to respond, I knew by the look on her face that was not going to happen

She'll just end up doing rounds between the pool, gym and spa...

That’s mostly what my wife did when I attended the C7 class. She did the ride alongs but the last time as the pace picked up she had to jump out of the car cause she got feeling queasy! She did say the instructor who looked all of 20 yrs old was driving like it was a Sunday drive. with one hand on the wheel, radio in the other hand and talking on it, watching the mirror and calling us out on mistakes, and shifting while
Smiling and looking around. She said as soon as the group started catching him he would slowly ease away and smile at her when she noticed he could pull away at Will. Much better driver than me by far.

I picked the wrong career.

If you are staying on-site in a condo, they have kitchens. Depending on what room you get, you can sit out on the porch and watch the track. The lodge has tv's , couches, books and board games. If she becomes quick friends with another , she can go into Pahrump for the stores...or the casinos. My wife used the nice gym .
On the sad side....tomorrow is one year that my wife passed away. I am just happy that we were able to go to Vegas and do fun stuff and enjoy Spring Mountain and the sights. She wasn't really a car person at all, but she went with me to all my car shows and drives.
Really sucks doing it alone now and not as much as I used to. Just enjoy every minute you have with your loved ones....tomorrow is not promised.

As you all know, purchase of a new BW entitles the owner to "2-Day V-Performance Academy" as complementary.

For $1,745 more is the "2-Day Level 1: Intro to Open-Lapping". Has anyone done this school who could share more details?
