CT5-V Remove and Install Shark Fin Antenna Cover

Looking to replace my OEM painted 2024 CT5-V BW Shark Fin Antenna Cover with a carbon fiber one.

Anyone here have a writeup on this or DIY video you can share? Thank you.

You would be correct. I have not done it, but do know there is a nut (10mm?) that holds the fin to the roof.

Mmm....ah they make CF covers that go over the Antenna Fin. Savage Cadillac sells them.

Double ck with Oliver over at Savage Cadillac, I believe real CF "Interferes" with the antenna? I want to say he mentioned that to me a while back. Those may be CF wrapped and not CF....Oliver can clear that up for sure.

Yes, the savage CF cover will interest with the antenna. I bought it and it interfered with my Sirius radio. I ended up just having mine wrapped locally.

Good to know. I have an appointment to have my white 5BW installed with gloss black PPF on the roof only. The detailer told me that he will have to check to see how to remove the shark fin antenna. Some GM's have different ways of removing the antenna. He also said that PPF is a pain in the ass to wrap on a antenna and will use a 3M wrap to do it instead. Too many contours.

I had my side skirts, antenna, mirrors and top of diffuser all wrapped.

I had my rockers, deck lid spoiler, front chin spoiler and a few other pieces wrapped in carbon fiber. Looks just like the real deal and saved me thousands of dollars and no worrying about possible damage to real carbon fiber. Did some interior parts in CF also.

What interior parts did you wrap? Any pics?
