I just picked one up last week for 50/50 street/track and curious of real-world feedback from other Blackwing owners.

Yes. It's an awesome car for performance-oriented driving. I love it for what it is. Long road trips it gets quite tiresome, at least for me. But track or spirited twisty back roads, or cruising to/from work, it's all smiles for me. I bought it as a midlife crisis fun car for summer, track, etc.

The 4BW is similar in most performance vectors, just does it differently, AND it's comfy too!! Awesome DD.

I had a ZL1 1LE for a couple of years. It was far, FAR too extreme for me.

I cringed every time I approached railroad tracks. Also learned of many potholes and uneven pavement I previously did not even know existed on familiar streets.

i loved everything else about it. I think non-1LE would be ideal on streets. 1LE for track makes sense.

I just wouldn't plan on driving it on regular streets except to/from the track. :)

really ?

regular ZL1 has it, but I thought all 1LEs had the fixed system that's similar to what was on the previous generation Z28.

SS 1LE (OPs topic) and ZL1 (non 1LE) have much in common (except that pesky supercharger :ROFLMAO:), including MRC. Even so, it's still a performance car ride, especially with SC3s.
