This is really impressive!

Impressive indeed. That’s Kong’s max effort ported blower. They need to toss a 2650 on there next and see what that does.

AFR's were in a great spot already. Imagine how much more could be squeezed with a proper tune all the way through. It was still pulling hard at redline too! Add a header and maybe a pulley and this could be crazy upgrades to power.

Maybe a novice question but is the ECU just dynamic enough to recognize and fully accommodate this or does it really not need to do anything more than call for more fuel with the extra air? Ported blower is a pretty easy and safe 60whp it seems if everything else will hold up without a 'proper' tune

Runs start around 6:45

Track time with the ported blower and drag radials. Interesting to see different starting techniques. Managed a 10.99

Amazing. If tuning eventually becomes available, we can only wonder how much more to squeeze.

When the learned folks say it’ll never be tunable (HPTuners, Cobb, etc) I believe them.

I know one aspect is the ECU (misnomer since it now isn’t one box) ‘calls home’ to GM and runs a chksum every 24 hours.

Spoke to them about blower returned car so owner can drive it for 2 weeks make sure no check engine light.
Then change pulley hopes to make HP, at some point fuel will become an issue
