CT5-V PCV/EVAP uncapped? Doesn't look critical, but does this remain uncapped or should I cap it?

Went for a drive today and everything was perfectly normal. Popped the hood just to admire the engine, and noticed this cap hanging. Should it be capped up? 🤷🏼‍♂️ 550 miles so far, no issues.

Isn't that the burp/filler valve for the charge cooler? Just put the cap on to keep it clean.

I have no idea what this is. I put the cap on. Figure if it has a cap, unless I'm using whatever it is, out needs to be capped up.

As shbox said, That's the cap over the intercooler bleeder port. There's a Schrader valve in the inside so no coolant can leak unless the valve is pushed down. You were right to put the cap back on to keep dirt and debris out.

Awesome!

Thank you. Went for a drive this evening and no change. Much appreciate you all.
