Parking Sensor Control Module Location?

So, it looks like this is the little bugger missing from some of our cars to enable the parking sensors. Anyone know where this module is actually located so I can anticipate how much surgery the dealer will need to perform once they get the part? I thought I saw one diagram that shows it located under the passenger seat but not sure. Probably need access to the service manual.

It's in the right hand side of the trunk on the back of the wheel housing.. Should be relatively easy to access.

I wonder if you can just plug this in or if you need the ECU flashed to accept it?
 
It is in the same place and replacement procedures say it has to be programmed.

Thanks for the confirmation. If it didn't need to be programmed I would just buy that part for $40 and plug it in. It is in stock online. GM could have saved a bunch of money if they offered a DIY kit for those of us who have no problem tackling this.
