P0420 & P0430 under hard acceleration.

Hey guys. 2024 5BW w7500 miles. These codes keep popping up under hard acceleration. Normal driving they stay clear.

I got the car at the end of November last year. When I picked the car up, I figured that the lot just filled the tank up with 87 octane. I took it in about a week later at a Cadillac dealer and they agreed that it was probably low octane. They advised to keep driving through 2-3 tanks of 93 and they shouldn't come back.

I'm now on my third tank and they still keep coming back. Any insight what could be causing these codes? There's no mods that are done to the car.

Defective cats? Bad O2's? Like I said, it's only after hard acceleration.

Put a large can to Techron with new tank or gas.

Sounds like the cats might be defective from the factory since it's only happening under hard acceleration on a brand new car - I'd push the dealer harder for warranty coverage.
