CT4-V My modded CT4-V Blackwing

Cadillac CT4-V model
Got my parts dropped off at the shop and an install date set for 3/27...

How did you get your OEM spoiler off? I’m having a tough time with mine right now. Trying to install the CF one.

I never touched it. The detail shop did it when I had the car wrapped. They have all those trim removal tools that help that sort of thing.

The shop I worked with broke the outer clips on mine during removal. They replaced with nuts like the inner bolts have.

Update 3/28/23: Swift springs installed and alignment completed...

The shop refused to install the wheels, as the rears had "ZERO clearance" between the 295 tires and the subframe, so I loaded up all the wheels, went home and decided to try them on myself...

Granted, it is close, but there is definitely clearance...

More so when it is on the ground...

Checked clearance to the fender and it is also close, but no rubbing...

Unfortunately was working on it so long, it got dark before I could get a good pic, so that'll be another time...
But here is a side pic of the car currently vs original:

More pics to come...

Looked through the thread and didn't see it when i was quickly skimming, but did you post the rim specs somewhere?

Hope for the best with them but that looks like a sure recipe for disaster. What do you have for clearance at rest? Looks like tire to fender contact is imminent. One good dip and paint/wrap will melt away.

I may not have, sorry.
Specs are:
19x9.5 +22 front with 275/30/19s
19x10.5 +45 rear with 295/30/19s

Michelin's run wider than other tire brands, maybe a 285 would work better. I think Michelin has a 30 day guarantee on the tires you could prob swap them.

Might be good to run it in track mode for less suspension travel?🤷🏻

It looks really great BTW.

I run it on touring suspension. So far no rubbing issues... otherwise I'd have to consider going to 285s.
It does tramline a bit more now, but that was expected... experienced it far worse in my Camaro SS 1LE.

I need to get a good pic of it with the tire width looking beefy from the back.

I highly recommend BC Forged... They were great to work with and kept constant communication throughout the configuration, purchase, and shipping process.
