New to forum and and new to Cadillac.

Hello all

First post. I have been looking to replace my 2021 Audi RS Q8. Love horsepower and luxury. The CT5-V Blackwing caught my eye as it certainly checks both those boxes.

My personal preference with respect to the interior was the 25 refresh with the sky cool gray with jet black interior. I knew I also wanted the automatic and the parking package as i love the rear view mirror camera option.

So imagine my dismay when I searched at Cadillac. Com and quickly realized there was only a handful of those within 750 miles of me. Started calling everyone and even though shown on website as in transit - most were already sold.

Thankfully on my 5th and final call the guy said hold on. He checked, came back on the phone and told me it was mine at msrp! Bonus it was only a few days from being delivered to the dealer.

So off to get it this week. Any first day tips? Assume it will handle as good as my last two gm cars -a 75 impala and a 79 monza. Thanks for reading.

Congrats and welcome!

It is a special kind of torture to stay within the break-in limits (under 4.5k RPM, under 80mph). Do some searches here for additional PDI checks you should do or ask the dealer to do. Strongly consider front PPF and full ceramic (including and especially the wheels) by a good detailer (not the dealership).
