V-Series Cadillac(s)?
2026 CT5 V Blackwing
Good morning. I've been jonesing for one of these cars since 2023. Grateful to have the means to buy one, but was SOOOOOO frustrated with the local dealers here in Phoenix. Their business model being; hit your monthly numbers off "market adjustments" for Escalade Vs and CT5 V Blackwings. Treating you like you're buying a salvaged Honda Civic off a wholesale lot by forcing you to finance it with them and pay for mandatory dealer adds (aka. profit). Every lever to make $ will be pulled. And if questioned, you are treated like scum of the earth. Really frustrating and frankly a bad representation of the Cadillac brand. One day in 2024 I was so upset I went across the street to the chevy dealership and bought a new C8 stingray at $10k off MSRP. Drove it a year and only lost $4k. Nice car, but I have 3 kids. The last few months, I had been searching hard and going through the same B.S.. Almost bought a new Z06 now that they are $20k off sticker. Even though a Cadillac dealership here was flush with CT5 BWs (literally 4 of them on the lot, including a left-over 2025. All OUTSIDE and filthy!), they refused to sell them at sticker. Flew to Dallas to check out Sewell. Noticed there were alot of people on the forum who have bought from them. And I agree with the general sentiment I've read here; they are a good dealer. Sell all their new BWs at sticker with some very minor/reasonable $1,500 (something like that) adds. I was in the final throws with a GMC dealer in Denver that had a used GM exec demo car with only 330 miles when I saw one pop up in Charlotte. Never thought I'd buy a car like this sight-unseen across the country, but unfortunately that's what you have to do if you live here in Phoenix. Huge shout out to Chanz and Greg at Cadillac South Charlotte. two phone calls totaling 5 minutes and a series of text messages that morning and we agreed to terms. Shipping was more than reasonable. Had the car in my driveway in 10 days. Professional, courteous and fair. Highly suggest calling these folks, even if you live across the country. Enough about the purchase process, but wanted to get something in the public forum for those folks that are in the shoes I was in a month ago and trying not to get taken advantage of. The amount of time I spent and the number of dealerships I had visited would be nauseating to some. 3 years of patience paid paid off. Sorry for the rant - 3 years of pent up frustration being released.....

Ended up with a nearly exact spec car of what I'd order myself. 6MT, $2800 sport seats, drift/sky cool grey. Supposedly it was the owners friend/family member that bought it in August '25 and drove it 1,800 miles. Full PPF bumper to bumper and a CPO warranty. I love the idea of a "new" car and being the first owner, but I'd highly recommend looking for a very lightly used CPOd car. They are under sticker and you get a great warranty.

Now that I'm past that stage, I'm really looking forward to enjoying the car and learning from you all on what to do next. How to care for it. What to do with it (daily drive, or garage queen). Cars coffee events in AZ.
