Anyone else experiencing this: My dash layout and hud will randomly (seemingly) reset to touring or whatever the standard views are. I prefer the track dash and sport hud settings. I have not been able to detect a pattern to this but it happens several times a month.

2026 CT5BW.

The same thing happens to me periodically with my 25 CT5BW. I am hoping some future software update will fix this (although I have never gotten an update to work OTA and always need to go to the dealer, hopefully they fix that too)

Silly question to you all, but do you have them linked to the drive mode?...and did you also notice that the drive mode reset to touring when you turned your car off?

If I remember correctly doesn't every drive mode, but my mode and sport reset to touring when you turn off the car?

If so, then you can unlink your dash and HUD from your drive modes so they stay the same no matter what drive mode you are in.

(Take what I say with a grain of salt as I just got my 2026 a couple weeks ago and it's at the detailer's right now getting ppf and tint, so I can't double check myself...plus I've been pretty busy lately and have given some dumb responses)

This was fixed in a software update earlier this year. It was a massive update and included updating the base Android OS from 12 to 14. If the OTA update fails, you should make your dealer do it.

My 26 does this about every three weeks.

My 26 reset the HUD brightness after every shutdown.

Turns out it's part of the driver memory functions on the door, at least on mine. Set both with my preferences seemed to keep the settings.

Wish that would also work for the infotainment screen, get really tired of returning it to the gauges screen every start up.

Best,

MR-2026

My drive modes have always held.

Mine did the same thing on 12. Now on 14 so I’ll be watching to see if it is fixed.
